Black panel with zipper around goes on bottom of foam steps. I placed a stick strip on top of each step next to angle going up for next step. This is to hold fabric in place. Start with shortest step rolling cover up step making sure black panel for bottom stays on bottom and you have no folds or wrinkles in the fabric. Press fabric on stick strip when you reach that point. Continue doing the same for the next step keeping the fabric taught. After sticking material to the fabric on stick strip/strips along top of middle step, continue rolling the fabric up onto the top step. I placed a stick strip on the foam portion side that goes against the object steps are placed against to keep the fabric in place. I just removed the cover for washing but had to be careful of the stick strips so I could reuse them. After washing, I replaced cover this same way.
